Vein and artery care

Vascular Services

Vascular conditions range from troublesome vein symptoms through to potentially serious artery disease. The aim of consultation is to understand the diagnosis, the management options, and the most appropriate next step.

Assessment and planning

A vascular consultation may include detailed questions, clinical examination and review of existing imaging. A chaperone is always available during clinical examination - just ask. When necessary, vascular ultrasound, CT or MR angiography will be arranged. Management may involve lifestyle and risk-factor advice, surveillance, medicines, compression stockings, endovascular procedures, or open surgery.
